Nish Productions is an independent film production company based in Calgary, Alberta, founded by filmmaker Nishtha Banerjee. Built on a love for cinema and the endless possibilities of storytelling, the company brings ideas, experiences, and creative visions to life through film.

We believe inspiration can come from anywhere. A conversation, a memory, a different culture, or simply a moment that makes us see something in a new light. These are the sparks that inspire us to explore, imagine, and create. Through documentary and narrative filmmaking, we bring together real-life experiences and creative expression, giving each project its own voice and character.

What makes filmmaking special to us is everything that happens along the way—the exchange of ideas, the people we meet, the unexpected discoveries, and the excitement of watching a vision take shape. We value the freedom to experiment, the joy of collaboration, and the opportunity to create work that feels genuine and memorable.

At the heart of Nish Productions is a belief that a film is more than what appears on screen. It is the imagination behind it, the people who bring it to life, and the something special it leaves with us long after the story ends.
